hoop a loop

Or hula hoop! Yesterday we celebrated Mckenzie's 2nd birthday at The Children's Museum in Richmond and Abigail had a wonderful time. She was amazed at one little girl who was a pro at hula hooping! She has been talking about a "hoop a loop" since yesterday. I love to hear her say it. Tonight we were saying our prayer's before bedtime and she wanted to pray for a hoop a loop and I had to remind her we don't pray for things, we pray for people. She then started naming person after person, I love to hear what's on her heart.

Today was Robert's first day at his new job. All went well and I am so excited for him and this new adventure he is about to embark on.

I love to read design blogs and dream about decorating ideas. How beautiful are all three of these rooms? I think the blue and white parson chairs are so pretty and the zebra print pillows add a chic finishing touch.

a smiling heart

Yesterday Abigail, Robert and I spent the day in Williamsburg. We had a wonderful day mainly just being together. Our weeks fly by with all sorts of busyness and it's always nice to re group and spend time together as a family. We had lunch at Chili's and ofcourse Abigail was waving and smiling at everyone. She is such a little flirt. Speaking of which today she walked up to a little boy at church and gave him a smooch. Unfortunately I was talking and didn't see it but the mother of the little boy said she walked right up to him and kissed him on his cheek. I think we're going to have our hands full. :)

Her new word is "YA'LL" and it makes me laugh every time she says it. Tonight we were at my parents and mama, daddy and I were talking and she walked into the room and said "HEY YA'LL!"

Tomorrow is Valentine's day and we're looking forward to delivering Valentine's to some of our favorite people. XOXO

Girls night

Every now and then I just need time, time for me to sit in the back seat of my mother's car and ride to Gloucester to see a very GIRLY movie! That's just what we did tonight! My mom, her best friend Sharon and I went to Hillside which is the oldest theater around, it's ancient but I love it. And it's cheap, Monday night's are "Ladies Night" which makes me laugh but a movie ticket, popcorn and a drink for 7bucks. SWEET, I'm on it. We saw No Strings Attached w/ Ashton Kutcher and Natalie Portman. It was your typical cheesy love story but I love a good one of those ever so often.

Mama and Sharon have been best friends since way before I came into this world and they just have a friendship that's refreshing to me. They have been through alot together and sitting in the back seat listening to them chit chat and me chiming in ever so often is comforting and makes me smile.

XOXO

SUPER BOWL BABY

Abigail and Landon having popcorn and cookies for a snack!

We usually go to a Super Bowl party but my how times have changed. This year we stayed home and had yummy snacks like pizza cups, chili and homemade chocolate chip cookies. My parents went to a party so we kept Landon for a few hours for them. He and Abigail have had a ball playing together. My house is everything but upside down but oh well, that's what happens when you have little ones running around.

There are 7 minutes left in the game and things are getting pretty interesting. I'm not really a fan of either team but Robert is rooting for the Steelers so I'm hoping they win. They just scored and there are only three points between them and the Greenbay Packers.

Lunch after church today.
