It was a beautiful day here, in the 60's, the sun was shining and the water was glistening. My grandmother (Mom) drove Abby and I to Williamsburg to her 18mo. check up. As we rode along the parkway I admired the beauty surrounding us like the budding trees and the sun shining on the York River. Mom reminded me of the fact that we take all of this for granted at times. Although I think back to my days of living in the mountains of Radford, VA and the heart of Richmond, VA and I did miss the water and the serenity of this beautiful place. I'm so happy to be home and living where I do!
Abby did great at her doctor's appointment with the exception of getting her shot. And she wasn't too fond of the man in the white coat, AKA Dr. Graham! She is in the 96th percentile for height, Dr. Graham says "get this girl a basketball!" 56th percentile for weight which isn't bad. This was her last vaccination until kindergarten, I think my jaw dropped when the nurse told me this. Gosh, she suddenly seems so grown up...no more shotties! The nurse also told me she recently thought of Abigail while shopping at Button's & Bows. She saw a pink and green polka dot dress with flamingo's embroidered around the neck. I love that Abby is thought of like that. FUN!
We celebrated with a banana split blizzard from Dairy Queen and after our treat Abigail was out like a light.

Oh she is just such a beautiful little girl. I love her long eyelashes and sweet pouty lips. Too bad we don't live closer so Abi and Abby and Nick could all play together. :)
